Dad has been asked so many times if he’d write a book because it feels like a miracle that he’s alive and experiences so many healthy moments now.

Dad grew up in Yorkshire, born in 1959. He’s changed some of the wording from how they’d originally speak to what looks to be (from reading up on some websites) the correct terminology for today, and he hopes would not be offensive to anyone.

Dad’s written this in the style of his head… a mess 😆 

In all seriousness, he thought it would help anyone reading to get a glimpse into his mind writing this way, so the book is a collection of snippets from his life that he hopes brings more understanding and another perspective on mental health and ill health.

This book is a book about unimaginable abuse… but if you know Dad, then it becomes a story of hope and faith.

I’ve got a lot of questions I want to chat to Dad about so I’m hoping he’ll do a video with me that we can upload to YouTube to help anyone else who also has all the questions swimming in their head after reading it!
